Touch Panels operate from a modern industrial unit situated in Thornbury, just north of Bristol. Our premises are clean, efficient and well maintained. We take pride in our work and surroundings, always emphasising the importance of quality and customer satisfaction.
Manufacturing and assembly processes are carried out in house, with minimal use of an approved third party where necessary. This enables us to control every aspect of production, ensuring the finished product is delivered on time and meets with your approval.
Membrane potentiometer
Our company has a history of designing innovative new products, using the unique skills and knowledge of our employees. This began in the late 1980's when we first produced our screen printed linear potentiometers, with an active length in excess of 1 metre and a patented method of activation detection.
Flexible sensor tag
Using our knowledge of films, adhesives and screen printing techniques, Touch Panels developed a flexible sensor tag for the security industry in the mid 1990's. This product is unique to the industry and we quickly gained worldwide patents for the design. Many security companies have since decided to use our tag, completely replacing out-dated micro switch sensors they had previously been using.
Open display security
To expand on the success of the flexible sensor tag, and to develop associated alarm systems to utilise it, the company established ProTag Retail Security in 1999. Since then we have designed and developed our own range of open display systems, which are exported all over the world.
